Increased levels of CO2 will slow down the respiration rate of flowers.
Reduced respiration results in colder flower temperatures!

Reduced Dehydration

Flowers retain more water with reduced respiration. CO2 reduces bacteria levels in the water, resulting in cleaner more open stems, allowing the flowers to absorb more water. Flowers die when they lose 10% of their weight from water loss.

Ethylene Replacement

Ethylene control ranks a close second to temperature control for extending vase life. CO2 is twice as dense as ethylene gas, thereby having the ability to move the ethylene away from the flowers.

1. Remove CO2 Pad from resealable barrier.	2. Insert CO2 Pad into reusable Pad Holder.	3. Place CO2 Pad and Pad Holder on a shelf in your display cooler.
